Hello and welcome to the
Official iPit website!

Here is how to customize your car!!

Want to share your custom cars with everyone? Email your car file(s) to us at Apps@200mphDesigns.com and include your name and we will post them here and give you credit.

1) Download one of the templates, by right clicking on it and saving it. (or create your own, make sure it is 135 x 345 pixels in size for the iPhone/iPod or 270 x 680 for the iPad.)

2) Using your photo editor, customize the car to look like your favorite driver, or your own creation. If using the png files, make sure you save the file with transparency on. Otherwise, you will get black areas around the nose and rear where the car curves. There are free photo editors that support transparency, so Google it, you will find one!

3) If you use the jpg files, be sure to fill in the entire rectangle. Otherwise you will get undesirable results.

4) Once you have your car file saved on your computer, you need to get it to your iPhone/iPod. You can sync it using iTunes into your photo library, or simply email it to yourself and then save it from the email.

5) Now that is on your device, open iPit and hit the 'Cars!' button.

6) On the Cars page, you can now import your car by hitting the 'Change/Delete' button under one of the 4 customizable car stalls. If you already have a car there, you can replace it, or delete it. To replace it, or add a new one, just hit the 'Choose New Car' button and your photo library will appear. Choose the car you want and it is now in the game!!.

7) To change which car is active, simply tap that car in your garage and it will become active.

iPad Templates
Here are some templates to get you started!

These are the best templates and utilize transparent png files. This allows the car to have shape around the nose and rear. However, you need a photo editing software that supports transparency to use these.
(See left side bar).

These templates are regular jpg files and do not have transparency. They are for people who do not have a photo editor that can do transparency. They will still work, but they don't look quite as good. They are square and boxey.
